Gopuff tops list of highest earning rapid grocery delivery firms

A study conducted by Sortlist has revealed Gopuff as the highest earning quick commerce player, beating more established figures including Uber Eats to the top spot.

The study calculated the app’s total revenue per user by looking at the number of users and the app’s overall revenue to calculate the total revenue per single user of each app.

Gopuff ranked first, with revenue per users (RPU) coming in $384.62 with annual revenue coming in at $1 billion from 2.6 million users.

Getir closely followed the US quick commerce with $285.71 RPU despite 3.5 million visitors using the platform. Revenue also came in at $1 billion for the year, the study revealed.

UK tech firm Deliveroo came in third position, seeing eight million users on the platform and pulling in $260 RPU, with $2.1 billion revenue annually.

Berlin-based Gorillas has the smallest consumer-base of the top 10, with only 900,000 users, but generating an impressive $244.4 in revenue per user. Its annual revenue came in at $220 million according to the data.

Uber’s food division, Uber Eats, found itself in ninth position, with RPU falling in at $103.23 from 81 million users.
